Nhu is a board certified behavior analyst
(“BCBA”) with over ten years of experience working with children with
autism and other developmental disabilities. As a former Carbone
Associate, Nhu was trained by Dr. Vincent Carbone in the application of
the principles of verbal behavior and behavior analysis. Nhu completed her Master of Science (MS) in
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at California State University, Los
Angeles. Her master’s thesis demonstrated the role of joint control in
teaching children with autism to follow and generalize multi-step
receptive instructions and was completed under the guidance and
supervision of Dr. Barry Lowenkron - the founder of joint control. Nhu
also received two years of graduate training in research, design,
development and analysis of experimental behavior methodology at West
Virginia University, the nation’s leading institution for experimental
behavior analysis. Nhu is experienced with and designs programs
for children aged 2 to 14 years. Her clients are composed of children
of all skill levels, ranging from those with no appropriate
communication or social skills to those with comparatively high level
skills. She has provided consultation services for families throughout
the US, Canada, China, and Turkey. She has also provided workshops for
professionals and paraprofessionals throughout the US. Nhu currently
provides regular consultations to clients throughout the US and Canada
